Sling combines fashion and sustainability with durable, up-cycled denim and rope products inspired by the rock climbing aesthetic. Our team, Mia Hutter, Netsanet Thompson, Gabe Smith, and I, launched Sling past summer and had success selling it at the ADAAPT store.
[POM]X-03 is my discursive project for my capstone semester that critiques the society's obsession with hyper-convenience. By exaggerating the simple task of peeling a pomegranate, it questions whether the product is truly necessary.
