I created this oversized patio chair during a material exploration course.  This piece is a contemporary reimagination of Arts and Crafts movement style furniture.  The chair is designed in light of Gustav Stickley's later works with a William Morris inspired fabric.  

In cases of triage or natural disasters, health care providers need the tools to monitor the health of patients, including pre-born children.  This ergonomic redesign of a fetal doppler - a device used to measure the heart beat of babies in utero - is created in a way to limit shoulder and elbow strain for the health care provider.
